From the early stage of being an ugly caterpillar despised by everyone to the stage where it transforms
into this glorious insect loved by the entire creation.
Have you ever seen a cat
chasing a butterfly?? Well a sight to look for.
Its life
commences abandoned on a leaf to take care of itself. That doesn’t mean that it
gives up easily!
Never receiving
the feeling of a parent’s care, the compassionate love of a mother, the fun among
siblings, the naughtiness of friends…it moves on to independently hunting for food and wandering,
surrounded by loneliness, in its own sweet and slow pace.Barely surviving, one would say.
It is
desperately searching for something or someone(in their own world) to keep it
busy.
Alas!
One day, fed up with the cruelty of life
or as Mother Nature would want it to be, it silently wraps itself in a cocoon,
determined to fall into an eternal slumber. We can only wonder if actually a caterpillar
does understand that it is another part of its life.
The same
question could be related to a birth of baby? Having spent, on a regular note,
9 months in the womb of the mother, does it ask itself whether the birth is
actually the end or does it know that it is a new beginning?
Hmmmm….i
believe no one has this answer yet. Another beautiful unexplained mystery of
life.
It is at
this time that God decided to bless the caterpillar, so it can roam outside and
discover the beauty of the earth, on land and in the air.
After the incubation
period, God wakes up the caterpillar. Almost dead by the heat, he crawls out of
his cocoon. Now, instead of crawling and gliding on the tree, it instinctively unfurls
its wings, though a bit taken aback.
And suddenly
it has forgotten all the anger it had towards its lonesome previous life.
It moves on
to the next step in life—to discover all of God’s creations by fluttering
around and allowing others to admire its own beauty.
