Cursed Corona Virus

The only talk in the 21st century.

The Corona virus pandemic is wiping out almost the entire human population. It is nicknamed COVID-19. It was released from a lab in Wuhan, China.
This virus was predicted in a book called, “The Eyes of Darkness” by Dean Koontz. He said that the virus was called ‘Wuhan-400’ because of its origin.

This invisible virus has brought the entire world to a standstill. Unbelievable! Who would have thought so? Even the World Wars did not bring such a drastic halt.

What happened to our sweet world?

A curse of technological advancement, some would say. Others would profess punishment from the Almighty. Some avouch nature taking back control.

No matter the theories being put up, the sad reality is that Corona has attacked us in the most vile manners.

All the airports in the world are closed down. International village quarantined at one go.
Not a single person can claim he is not affected.

Tourists are being evacuated back to their respective countries. Schools have closed gates. Places of worship, which in some places had recently become places where racial issues would take birth have shut down.

Shopping centres and eating galleries, the new family areas of gathering are deserted.

Cinemas and theatres are only in crying moods.

Work places have taken a downcast figure.

Parks and garden are melancholic.

It actually feels like one of those Sci-Fi movies my dad would watch.

Scientists are relentlessly working to find a cure.
The infected are being sent into quarantine, a depressing place considering one is sick and would pray to be cherished by loved ones.
People have panicked and are buying stocks of food. Everyone is keeping their distances and are trying their best not to let the virus get the better of them.
People are not allowed to leave their homes unless it is an emergency. A blessing we took too long for granted.
Washing hands regularly, sending precautionary text messages and other safety measures are being advertised.

Prayers are being said more than ever and a solace is found there. The power of the Most Powerful is being sought when all doors seem to have been closed.

A chaotic environment is stressing everyone out. Student’s activities are being cancelled and no one can assure families that infected patients can recover.

The lone consolation is that at last Mother Nature is respiring .

Death is everywhere, yet, we all are joining up as a unity, to fight and get rid of this virus once and for all.

Revival of humanity is the basic lesson.

TREES

Green, vivid, beautiful, and cooling freshness. That is a tree! It provides us with oxygen, it brightens up places with a colourful charm.  A tree plays different roles in different seasons. During autumn , it lets down leaves of all colours for people to admire while they flow around. In spring , it grows a new family of leaves and flowers for everyone to admire and feel vivid. In summer , the fruits are mature, fleshy and sumptuous enough for us to relish on. During winter , the trees fold inside to protect themselves from the icy cold and even the frigid snow. And this process continues smoothly.  Trees need water, sunlight and carbon dioxide, which in some way, makes them related to us. Rather than related I should say interdependent as we need oxygen whereas they need the carbon dioxide. Hence we co-live! A very realistic picture is that when a child starts drawing, he/she generally starts by drawing a blessing of nature—a flower; then gradually...

Them.

I've met this person, a pure soul. They make me happy, in a way that I dont even understand myself. They radiate brightness and they're my little yellow lady When it comes to them, I truly run out of words because even words cannot start to describe how amazing they are. When I sit down and try to pen down all the emotions I feel for them, to try and make it poetry, I discover that I cannot,  because neither my mind nor my soul will let me use something as mere as words to describe them. Words are very powerful, but they crumble in face of them. They are truly happiness They make my heart flutter in joy and make my stomach drop dead They are romantic and sweet They write poetry in my name and I can't find anything cuter Their smile is the shiniest thing in the world Their eyes are ones I could stare at forever and fall into its depths even if it meant no return Their face of calmness as they lay on my lap and i stroke their hair Their hugs are those that make...

Chirpy Chirpy Cheeps

Birds, are they immaterial to us? Or do they bring significance to our lives? Birds, an important factor in everyone's life, can make even the grumpiest person on earth twitch a smile. They have a distinctive feature that makes them unique compared to any other species. What female hawks can do to keep their children protected is enormous, a bit what our own mothers would do for us...hmmm The amazingly-colored birds brighten up places. No wonder, the very thought of Amazon forest displays an array of colourful fowls to our imagination. Hearing their cheerful chirps make time peaceful, oh! but then, we also have the croaked-voice crow. Their adorable body structures, their wonderful techniques of making people happy are astounding. Some even say that they are used as therapy for young children who have speech problems. What a blessing God sent us! Singing and chirping have always been the characteristics of birds. This is what defines them and distinguish them ...
