A Promise

‘I pledge that’… ‘this is my oath’… ‘I vow’… ‘you have my word of honour’.

Why do we use such sophisticated words and try to convince someone that we are actually going to live up to it.

Why try to fake it and give false hope.

People will understand and appreciate it better if you genuinely tell them the truth.
Simply admit, ‘I’m sorry, but I can’t do this’.
BUT, that does not mean you don’t try at all. Do your best and who knows, you might even succeed and God might assist with his divine powers if your intentions are honest.

Giving false hope to someone is similar to backstabbing them.

Why does breaking a promise give us a feeling of betrayal?

Well, first off, you break someone’s hope and at the same time, you risk your own reputation.

Honestly, tell me? Do you want to be known as a “promise-breaker”?

A promise is the symbol of your trustworthiness.

It is the thin and frail road on which we all tread to develop a good relationship.

A light blow can break this very road instantly and many a times, it is a no-return from that point.

The global and general definition of a promise is: ‘A declaration or assurance that one will do something’.

So, I request everyone and urge you to forever remember, take care of this brittle and fragile jewel and please do not use it for selfish reasons and in the process, hurt anyone’s feelings.

Let’s weigh our words well before we utter them.

TREES

Green, vivid, beautiful, and cooling freshness. That is a tree! It provides us with oxygen, it brightens up places with a colourful charm.  A tree plays different roles in different seasons. During autumn , it lets down leaves of all colours for people to admire while they flow around. In spring , it grows a new family of leaves and flowers for everyone to admire and feel vivid. In summer , the fruits are mature, fleshy and sumptuous enough for us to relish on. During winter , the trees fold inside to protect themselves from the icy cold and even the frigid snow. And this process continues smoothly.  Trees need water, sunlight and carbon dioxide, which in some way, makes them related to us. Rather than related I should say interdependent as we need oxygen whereas they need the carbon dioxide. Hence we co-live! A very realistic picture is that when a child starts drawing, he/she generally starts by drawing a blessing of nature—a flower; then gradually...

Them.

I've met this person, a pure soul. They make me happy, in a way that I dont even understand myself. They radiate brightness and they're my little yellow lady When it comes to them, I truly run out of words because even words cannot start to describe how amazing they are. When I sit down and try to pen down all the emotions I feel for them, to try and make it poetry, I discover that I cannot,  because neither my mind nor my soul will let me use something as mere as words to describe them. Words are very powerful, but they crumble in face of them. They are truly happiness They make my heart flutter in joy and make my stomach drop dead They are romantic and sweet They write poetry in my name and I can't find anything cuter Their smile is the shiniest thing in the world Their eyes are ones I could stare at forever and fall into its depths even if it meant no return Their face of calmness as they lay on my lap and i stroke their hair Their hugs are those that make...

Blooms of Heaven

Flowers are synonymous of happy lives. Have you ever noticed, what ladies in happy couples are mostly offered. Indeed! Flowers. Why? Simple, it brings happiness. The joy of having nature’s beauties in your hand is enough to leave you grinning from one ear to another. Their scents, the vivid colours, shape, features, all of these, combine to define a flower. Flowers are of various colours like white, purple, blue, yellow, and then, there are absolute unique ones too. Look at what all flowers have inspired us to. The obvious one is Spring’s latest fashion mode. Dresses, shirts, shorts, handbags, belts, hairband, cutlery, drapes, etc. Floral impact leaves no item untouched. Life without flowers would be like life without oxygen. That statement is basically true, since, plants do produce oxygen! I wonder if it has been proven or not, flowers might be present everywhere, even in the aridest desert, we find a little bloom on the biggest giant spine, the cactus. Flowers ...
