THUNDER

Thunder A powerful surge of electricity, which petrifies everyone with a loud rumbling. Shot from the sky, it does not let anyone even dare to think about roaming outside, carefree. Its impact is imprinted on both children, as well as adults. Children get frightened and rush blindly to their rooms, leave the lights on and scurry under their blankets till it ends. Some tiny tots tightly block their ears and take shelter with the elders. While adults, on the other hand, wonder about this magically inexplicable mystery – thunder. Well, now if you are wondering why I added the word magical, it is because no matter how many proofs scientists can give us, there will always be an irreal feeling towards thunder. Not to say that with the marvel, there is that indescribable fluttering of the heartbeats. What is so inexplicable about thunder? One Second

Laith's One-Second   “Laith please come and help me.” “One second maa!” (Five minutes later or at times it can be 30 whole minutes) “Yeah, what I’ll help you with?” “Oh, I already finished it waaaaay back. Your one second elapsed into an eternity.” " Oh maaa!" The two words that burst my mom’s nerves are – ‘one second’. Well, as per the boon (alas for our elders -   the curse) of our generation, the pretext of his one second is invariably his phone. Either he is checking schoolwork, watching a movie, playing games (which as per him, cannot be paused) or he is chatting with his friends. Even if he is not on the phone, he will have other mil...

My Moana

The Sea Peacefulness, calmness, thrill, relaxation, where can we find all of these at a single spot? At the sea. The rhythmic sound of waves caressing the shore is so peaceful. Watching the calm sea during sunset makes you forget about all the problems in life. Spending a night at the beach gives you a sense of adventure as you no virtual game can grant you. The different nocturnal sounds that come forth alive are sometimes scary, at other times mysterious. Having a view of the infinite sea can help you feel relaxed, as you understand that there is no bigger power than this expanse. A place where there is no room for negative emotions is what everyone needs. Mythologically, it is believed that the receding waves take away all negativity and ills. Have you ever sat down and wondered, what the sea consists of? Not fish, seaweed, corals and the regular marine life, but what it really contains in its abyss. It has a myriad of lives living in it, it holds all the mysteri...
